Picked up another Worlds of Fun family film from the '70s. Am in the process of having it converted to DVD so that I can get screen captures from it for the site. I have upgraded the screen capping equipment so I should get some good pictures from it.

Hey! Just wondering dt, but how far have you come on converting the old family film to dvd? Im really interested in Worlds of Fun's past. I was wondering where did you find such a treasure? Im trying to make a database for worlds of fun's old stuff, and I was also wondering if I could maybe, if its possible, get a copy of this? Thanks a lot!

Matt,

I've purchased the 3 or 4 WOF files that are on the site from a variety of sources. The first few were converted at a local company and the latter films were converted by a friend who just filmed a film screen with a digital video camera. I then used a video capture card to convert frames to .jpgs.

Hope that helps,

DT

Hey DT, I'm not sure really where to post this, but about a couple of months ago I recieved a Timberwolf Promotional video, and just recently converted it to where I can play it on the computer. If I was to send in the footage that I have recorded on to the computer, would it count as sending in a vintage image? Or is it possible to maybe send me some old Worlds of Fun footage in exchange? Thanks a lot!

Matt,

Thanks so much for your offer to contribute to the site. While the site does not support video I do have the capability to post screen captures from DVDs. If you would like to send a copy to the address on the site I will promptly send you access info upon receipt.

Thanks again,

DT
