I used to go to the Southwest Carnival every year. It was at Southwest High School on Wornall Road just past Gregory Blvd? I believe the school is now closed. I think it rained everytime I went and the place was a muddy mess. We still managed to have a great time though. I always thought the rides were a bit dangerous. Not sure if anyone ever got hurt there but I seem to remember something about the Salt and Pepper Shaker ride coming unhinged once. Could have been a rumor I suppose.
Anyone else?
