I was a weird kid and into weird music. I saw Kraftwerk play at Memorial Hall in KCK. I remember each member had their names in neon sitting next to them on the floor. I don't think there was any other lighting for the entire show. Anyone else see this show? Any idea what year that was?

I really dug Kraftwerk and am jealous that you saw them in the '70s. I have a stub from that show on the site but unfortunately the date is not showing. I am guessing 1975-1976. Does that sound right to you?

It easily could have been 1975 or 1976. It was after the Autobahn LP was released. That was 1974. If it was 1976 I would have been 13. Seems kind of young but certainly possible My father would have taken me.

How many band members? Three is pre-1975 and four is post.

(On edit - 1975 is the first time they crossed the Atlantic so it would have been as a 4-piece.)

This:

Kraftwerk - Aragon Ballroom, Chicago, 19 April 1975

makes me think that they were definately in KC in 1975. Linda Ronstadt, Genesis & Golden Earring shows at Memorial in 1975 were $5-$6. The Kraftwerk show was $2-$3. I can't imagine them being $2-$3 in 1976.

That's it! The day of the week even checks out. Well done, old friend. Well done. Now can you look into the other 200 tickets that are missing dates?
